EDUC 331 - Educational Theory and Assessment

The study of education theories as these pertain to the teaching-learning process. Theories include behaviorism, social cognitive theory, information processing theory, and constructivism.  Candidates will study and develop a variety of assessment instruments that include formative, summative, and standardized testing. The practical application of the theories and assessment is a part of the field experience for this course. EDUC 327 EDUC 339 , EDUC 454 , and EDUC 457  provide opportunity for application of knowledge, skills, and dispositions.
Prerequisite(s): Achieved Teacher Education Candidacy or EDUC 201 .
