NRSG 464 - Population and Community Health Nursing II (SERV-2)

This course focuses on the Biblical foundation of service and care regarding health promotion in diverse communities and populations. Emphasis is placed on connecting with communities, families, and individuals using the Adventist SON framework as care is delivered. The student will apply theoretical concepts with experiential learning within diverse populations and community settings will focus on cultural competency and wholistic care. Experiential learning will include culminating individual and group learning activities in the community. A project with presentation is required. Two hours theory, one hour clinical. Lab Fee: 9 ($180).
This course is cross-listed with NURS 455 . A student may receive credit for this course from only one program.
