CHEM 107 - Chemistry of Everyday Life (IN-7) 3 hours
An introductory course that uses a “hands-on” approach to teach the basic principles of chemistry (including the use of basic scientific instruments) applied to everyday life. Topics may include forensic science, household chemicals, drugs (prescription, over-the-counter, or illicit), hazards and risks, food chemistry, polymers, and cosmetics. This course does not apply to a major or minor in Chemistry. Prerequisite(s): A minimum Mathematics ACT score of 17, SAT score of 470, R-SAT score of 460 or a minimum grade of “C” in . FALL | WINTER
