NURS 460 - Nursing Seminar

4 hours

A capstone course that integrates whole-person, evidence-based nursing skills with principles of management. Practice takes place in acute care settings where the student manages groups of patients (72 clock hours). Included, but not limited to, are topics for entry-level RN’s such as professionalism, legal/ethical issues, time management, resume writing and interview skills and a nursing content review course in preparation for NCLEX-RN. Lab Fee: 15 ($400).
Prerequisite(s): NURS 410 , NURS 420 .
Corequisite(s): NURS 440 , NURS 450 .
