CHEM 411 - Physical Chemistry I (W) 4 hours
A study of the fundamental concepts of chemical thermodynamics, chemical equilibria, properties of pure substances and mixtures, phase changes, kinetic theory, reaction kinetics, and dynamics. May also include an introduction to quantum mechanics. Three hours of lecture and four hours of laboratory each week. Prerequisite(s): Completion of CHEM 152 , ; PHYS 212 or PHYS 222 with a grade of C- or higher. FALL
