CHEM 151 - General Chemistry (IN-7)

CHEM 151 is the first portion of a two-semester course that is an introduction to the fundamental laws and accepted theories of chemistry. Areas to be studied include stoichiometry, atomic and molecular structure and bonding, states of matter, and thermochemistry. It is expected that students will have successfully completed a high school chemistry course or CHEM 111  before enrolling in CHEM 151. Three hours of lecture, one hour of recitation, and three hours of laboratory each week. Lab Fee: 1 ($10).
Prerequisite(s): A minimum Mathematics ACT score of 19, SAT score of 460, R-SAT score of 500, or a minimum grade of “C” in  .
