BIOL 329 - General Microbiology 3 hours
A general study of bacteria, yeasts, molds and viruses, considering their morphology, physiology, genetics, and methods of control. Study is given in immunology topics: antigen-antibody properties, host-antigen interactions, humoral and cellular immune systems. The importance of microorganisms in environmental and applied fields is considered.Two lectures and one three-hour laboratory period each week. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 151 - BIOL 152 . WINTER
